Improve Table View allowing partial filters

The idea is to improve the current table view by having "TABS" for Home and Away standings and also a filter "from ..... to ...." allowing what matchdays to include on those standings. (See picture below)

These filters can show Home/Away Records, First Leg / second leg or different rounds also last 5/10 games can be filtered etc. etc. It would be cool.

I would suggest 5 tabs with option to choose default tab for initial view on desktop and/or mobile:

Full Table

Normal Table without Home or Away (P W D L F A D Pts)

Reduced Table without Home or Away (P Pts)

Home Table

Away Table

I like also the idea of shorten the columns.

On the other hand still thinking that this partial filters are very helpful

Some of our customers did this in WordPress using WP shortcodes. 97bd7b59cd771b9d64a4f25a127a106b

Similar thing can be done using Joomla module and any kind of Joomla page builder, for example Quix. This is something we used for building combination of blocs on https://statorium.com/euro-2020-api-football-data. It is not final yet today but you can see how I combine different modules on one page. I know it is not the same that you offer but hope it will help some of you building the better representation of data. :)

I doubt we add this kind of functionality to Joomla I think. WordPress have the work around already.

Number of different reasons: not every customer require, it and might be over complicated, it might be not flexible enough and finally last but not least budget.

Sorry Gents, but better be honest than say nothing here :) Thank you for your thoughts, VERY much appreciated!!!

p.s. i love the idea about filters, but our standings doesn't have the historical data, it recounts each time you add the new matchday / match result. We would have to rebuild it completely to achieve that :(
