Ability to add columns into Calendar

"Would be good to have ability to add extra fields (match type) to calendar table"
It is available in Wordpress (see this link), could we have it in Joomla please?
For example, I have an extra field called Group with a Select Box that I use in the Quick Set Up to add a Group 'Shortname' beside each match, but i cannot add it to the Calendar View in output.
It would be very helpful until the Group Shortname (see other feedback item) is added as part of a Group View in Calendatr output.
